Davies Award Recipients

Since 1994, the Davies Awards of Excellence has recognized successes, lessons learned, and best practices in EHR implementation and value within the healthcare industry.

Are you a hospital or physician practice thinking about implementing an EHR? Are you a part of a public health system seeking to impact population health with an electronic information system? Are you part of a community health organization providing care via an open door policy? Have you already implemented, but are in search of the industry's model practices to benchmark your system?

At HIMSS09, you can gain insight from the 2008 HIMSS Davies award recipients on their award-winning EHR implementations. These recipients, representatives from hospitals, physician practices, public health programs, and community health organizations will provide you with actionable information that you can utilize during your own organization's implementation of electronic health records. Recipients are evaluated and selected by Committees of past Davies recipients via a thorough application screening process and corresponding site visit.

Learn from the best at HIMSS09.
