A few tips to make the most of the calendar and mobile site:
- Add the mobile site to your home screen so you have it at your fingertips. For the iPhone, click on the arrow icon in the bottom navigation bar and select “Add to Home Screen.” For most Androids, bookmark the page and go to the home screen, long-press in an empty space to bring up the “Add to Home Screen” menu, select “Shortcuts”, select “Bookmark”, then choose the HIMSS12 bookmark.
- Use the calendar feature to plan your conference. You can add events to your calendar on both the regular site and the mobile site. When viewing a session in a regular web browser, look for the “Add to My Calendar” link usually found under the title of a session. If you have already added the event, the link will read “Remove from My Calendar”. On the mobile site you can add or remove a session by clicking on the star icon.
- To view your calendar on the regular website, you can click on the “My HIMSS12 Calendar” link found above search box in the main navigation. To view your calendar on the mobile site, you can click on the star icon (found in the top right corner) while you are in the Education/Events section.
