Prerequisites:
To become a program assistant at HIMSS11, you must be:
- A student member of HIMSS - Join Now!
- Currently a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in a related field*.
- Available full time from the dates of February 19 – February 24, 2012
- Age 21 years or older.
- Must not have volunteered for the HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition for more than two consecutive years.
* A copy of your class schedule or a letter from your institution is acceptable form of proof of current student status – a copy of your student ID will not be accepted.
Your Commitment:
- Air transportation to/from Las Vegas
- Ground transportation to/from Las Vegas airports to your hotel
- Incidental charges (i.e. hotel incidentals and meals outside of scheduled meals)
- A full time commitment to HIMSS to be available for the entire conference, February 19, 2012 (mandatory student orientation/conference set-up begins promptly at noon) through February 24 (final day of conference until 3pm)
Application deadline is Monday, December 5, 2011. Students will be notified of acceptance by January 2, 2012.
