Where do I pick up my badge?

A government-issued photo ID will be required to pick up your badge on-site. Badge pickup will be available at all registration counters located at the Venetian Expo and Hotel, Caesars Forum, and Wynn Las Vegas.

Can I reprint my badge on-site?

Yes. Badge reprints on-site cost $50.

Can someone under 21 years old attend the conference or related events?

No. All registrants, including spouses or guests, must be 21 years of age or older to attend any portion of the conference and events. This includes all off-site and after-hours events.

How do I receive my registration confirmation?

Registration confirmations are auto-generated and sent to the registrant’s email address once the registration process is completed. If you do not receive your confirmation, please revisit the registration page to look up an existing registration and resend the confirmation. You may also reach out to [email protected] to have a confirmation resent.

When is the Call for Proposals?

The HIMSS25 Call for Proposals is now open and closes June 10, 2024.

I am a speaker at HIMSS25. What happens next?

You will receive an email by the beginning of September notifying you whether you have been accepted or denied as a speaker for HIMSS25. If accepted, this email will contain directions on how to register as a speaker. Once registered, your registration will go into a pending status to be verified by the HIMSS team. If additional information is needed, you will be contacted via email. You will receive an email once your registration has been accepted.

How To's

I registered but have not received a confirmation. How do I get another one sent to me?

Please revisit the registration page to look up an existing registration or make a request to [email protected] to resend your confirmation email.

I registered, but I'd like to add additional events to my registration. How can I do that?

Additional events must be added to your registration via the registration dashboard. A link to your user-specific dashboard is available in your registration confirmation email. If you no longer have your confirmation email, please revisit the registration page to look up an existing registration utilizing the registrant’s contact information to gain access to the user-specific dashboard. If you have any issues, please reach out to [email protected].

What forms of payment are accepted?

Credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are the only accepted forms of payment. Wire transfers, cash, checks, and purchase orders are not accepted.

I'm a first-time attendee. Do you have any tips for me?

Attend our complimentary preconference webinar (dates and times to be announced) and / or join one of our First-Time Conference Orientations and Meet Up sessions on-site. Please review the Schedule at a Glance for the most up-to-date schedule information.

I need a letter to obtain a visa. Whom do I contact?

If you require a visa to attend conference, please request the documentation during the registration process. You will be prompted after you enter your country information whether you need visa documentation. 

To obtain the visa documentation after you register, you will need to visit your registration dashboard to download the PDF. A link to your registration dashboard will be available in your confirmation email and can be accessed using the registration look-up function on the website.

Are there discounts for group registrations?

There are no group rate discounts available for HIMSS25. 

What do I need to do to qualify for the student rate?

The Student rate is offered to individuals formally enrolled in a University Associate, Undergraduate, or Graduate program in any healthcare or health technology-related field.

Individuals who hold a paid part-time or full-time equivalent position, including residency, internship, or fellowship programs, in any health-related field are not eligible to receive the Student rate. 

You must submit proof of current enrollment during the online registration process. Accepted documentation includes: 

·  Copy of registrant’s current class schedule to include Spring 2025 or later activity 

·  Copy of university transcript to include currently enrolled courses or targeted graduation date of Spring 2025 or later 

·  Other enrollment documentation from the institution on university letterhead, signed by department chair or other school official 

HIMSS25 has sole discretion to request additional evidence that students satisfy the requirements for the student rate. If HIMSS25 determines the evidence is insufficient, HIMSS25 may deny the request for Student rate. 

All student attendees must register by February 28th to receive the student rate. After February 28th, students must pay full conference pass pricing to attend.

How do I obtain my conference registration receipt? 

To download your conference registration receipt information you must access your unique registration dashboard. A link to your dashboard is provided in your registration confirmation email. If you no longer have your confirmation email, you can visit the registration page to look up your existing registration account and access your dashboard.

How can I find what paid events and/or educational sessions I am registered for? 

All paid events, including pre-conference educational forums and networking events, can be viewed via your registration dashboard. A link to your dashboard is provided in your registration confirmation email or can be accessed via the registration website utilizing the lookup function to find an existing registration account.

Certification and Continuing Education Credits

What types of continuing education credits do you provide?

We offer continuing education credits for attendees to maintain over 12 different professional certifications for both clinical and non-clinical continuing education, e.g., CME, CNE, PDU, as well as CAHIMSSM, CPHIMSSM, and the CPDHTSSM certification from HIMSS.

How many sessions are approved for CME continuing education?  How can I learn which sessions are approved?

What is the cutoff for the CAHIMS/CPHIMS/ CPDHTS Beta Exam registrations? How is the exam registration handled after the cutoff has passed?

CAHIMS, CPHIMS, CPDHTS Beta Exam registrations are accepted through an online registration process through Sunday, March 3, 2024. Exam fees listed below are non-refundable and non-transferable to another person or exam administration. No exam registrations will be accepted after Sunday, March 3, 2024. Exam fees listed below are non-refundable and non-transferable to another person or exam administration.

Hotel

When will I be able to book a hotel for HIMSS25?

Hotel reservations are available now for all HIMSS25 Professional Attendees. Book now in the HIMSS25 official hotel block.

Exhibitor Housing Dates:

Exhibiting companies will be notified by onPeak, the official housing company of HIMSS25 when it is time to book hotels. Here are the opening dates for Exhibitor Housing:

Do I have to be registered for the conference before I can book my hotel in the HIMSS block?

No. Hotels can be booked at the HIMSS25 rate before registering for the conference. We encourage booking in advance as hotel rooms fill up fast. View your hotel options.

Optional Preconference, Educational and Networking Events

Can I attend for just one day?

Yes. You may opt for a Single Day Pass or Preconference Only Pass. The Single Day Pass is available for any day Tuesday through Thursday. It includes a single day’s access to that day’s keynote, concurrent education sessions, Exhibit Hall and select networking events. The Preconference Only badge is available for only Monday Preconference activities to attend either a Preconference Educational Forum or the Provider Executive Summit.

Please note the Provider Executive Summit is only available to those who qualify to attend.

Does my conference registration include admittance to Monday’s preconference forums?

Monday Preconference Forums are not included in Conference Pass packages and must be purchased separately for an additional fee.

Please select the preconference forum you want to attend, as forums may sell out! You will only be provided access to the preconference forum you choose during registration.

Can I register for only a Networking Event and not the full conference?

No. You must register for a conference pass and add-on any networking events for an additional fee.

Please be aware that some networking events are “invitation only” and will not be available for purchase.

How do I access the post-conference session recordings?

To access the session recordings from HIMSS24, you can visit https://www.himss.org/what-we-do-professional-development to login and see all session recordings. If you have any issues accessing the content or have questions, please contact the HIMSS Professional Development team at [email protected].

HIMSS25 on-site session recordings will be available approximately 6 weeks post conference.

Spouse and Guest Registration

Can I bring a spouse or other guest to the program?

Yes. Spouses and/or other guests must be at least 21 years old and must register for a conference pass to attend any functions. Any guests without conference registration will not be admitted into any events or functions hosted by HIMSS25.

Cancellation Policy, Refunds, Payment Adjustments and Substitutions

What is the cancellation policy for full conference, single day, events only, and preconference forums registrations?

Refunds, cancellationgs and substitutions on or before Sunday, January 26, 2025, are refundable, less a $100 cancellation fee. All refund, cancellation and substitution requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

On and after Monday, January 27, 2025: all registrations are non-refundable.

Please note:

  • You cannot reinstate a registration after you cancel it.
  • HIMSS membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Additionally, registration cancellations will not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Please refer to the Hotel Cancellation and Refund Policy.

When will I receive my refund?

If you cancel and are entitled to a refund, expect the refund within 30 business days. All refunds will be issued back to the original credit card on file. No refunds will be granted if requested after the substitution/cancellation deadline of January 26, 2025.

I can no longer attend the conference. Can I send a substitute?

Substitutions may be made at any time before January 26, 2025. A formal written request must be submitted by the original registrant to [email protected]. Substitution request emails must include the name and email address of the person who will be taking over the registration to collect personal information. After Sunday, January 26, 2025, no substitution requests will be accepted.

What is the HIMSS25 cancellation policy?

Informa reserves the right to cancel, alter, or reschedule the Conference for any reason, including because Informa determines in its sole discretion that the Conference cannot be held as planned.  Informa also reserves the right to close registration when tickets are sold out. For these reasons, registrants are advised against making non-refundable travel arrangements. Should you purchase non-refundable airline tickets or make non-refundable hotel reservations, you do so at your own risk. 

Should Informa cancel, alter, or reschedule some or all of the Conference for any reason, any fees paid or owed will not be refunded. Further, a portion of your Conference fees (including fees for any optional events) may be converted to a credit. If applicable, this credit may be applied to the HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition event within the United States for the year immediately after the canceled Conference.

Exhibitors

When will HIMSS25 exhibitor registration open?

Exhibitor registration will open in October 23, 2024.

What is the cost for additional exhibitor booth staff badges?

Additional exhibitor booth staff badges are $351 per badge on or before February 9, 2025. After February 9, 2025, badges increase to $540 per badge.

What is the cost of exhibitor client paid badges?

Exhibitor client paid badges are $675 per badge on or before February 9, 2025. After February 9, 2025, badges increase to $783 per badge.
