Shaping the Future of Healthcare: A Collaborative Care Journey Where Technology and Humanity Coexist

At the HIMSS25 Opening Keynote, Dr. Seung-woo Park, President of Samsung Medical Center, will explore the critical role of digital health transformation in enhancing patient care, with a particular emphasis on the integration of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and the development of next-generation systems, like DARWIN (Data Analytics and Research Window for Integrated kNowledge). These technologies are milestones of Samsung Medical Center’s journey as the world’s first HIMSS Analytics quadruple-validated stage 7 status organization and the first to receive to receive a perfect HIMSS Digital Health Indicator score.
Dr. Seung-woo Park will also highlight the importance of balancing technological innovation with the human aspects of healthcare. As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to evolve, he will explore the strategies needed to implement this new technology and how people, process and technology should be aligned.
