Hotel Deposit and Cancellation policy
Expect an acknowledgement from onPeak to be e-mailed to you within five business days from receipt of your housing request. This acknowledgement will serve as confirmation of your hotel reservation. You will receive your hotel confirmation number from onPeak approximately two weeks prior to the conference.
Please provide a valid credit card to hold your reservation. Credit cards must expire after the event dates.
Approximately fourteen (14) to twenty-one (21) days prior to the event, the Hotels, not HIMSS, Informa, or onPeak, will charge a deposit equal to one night’s room and tax. The Venetian and the Palazzo at the Venetian deposit is two night's room and tax.
The deposit is also payable by check. Please make checks payable to onPeak. Reservations not guaranteed with a valid form of payment are subject to cancellation.
Should you need to make any changes to your form of payment, please do so prior to 4:00 US Central Time, Friday, January 21, 2026. As of 4:01 PM US Central Time, all reservations will be subject to the non-refundable one night room and tax deposit policy, and the method of payment on the reservation will be charged.
Deposit by Credit Card
Reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of booking. The hotels will begin to charge a one or two night non-refundable deposit (refer to your confirmation email for your hotel’s policy) after Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
Should you need to change the credit card for your deposit, you must do so by Wednesday, January 21, 2026, 4 PM, US Central Time. Reservations may be canceled in their entirety without charge until 4 PM US Central Time on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Reservations canceled after this time will be charged the non-refundable deposit.
Deposit by Check or Wire Transfer
Checks or wire transfers must be received by Monday, January 5, 2026. After this date, only credit cards will be accepted. Checks should be made payable to and sent to

Reservations may be canceled in their entirety until 4 PM US Central time on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. After this time, the applicable deposit is non-refundable.
Changing Hotels
You may change from one hotel to another until 4 PM US Central time on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. After this time, changing from one hotel to another is considered a cancellation by the hotel you are moving from, and you may be charged a non-refundable deposit by both hotels.
Attrition for Groups of twenty (20) or more rooms:
As a courtesy, the Company is allowed to release up to 10% of the total Group Room Block Nights held as of January, 21, 2026, without penalty. After this date, cancellations will result in the deposit being retained and any reductions in length of stay greater than 10% apply to the following attrition policy. At the end of the Event if the Company’s Total Room Night utilization is less than 90% of the Total Room Nights Reserved (as of January 21, 2026) in the Group Room Block, Group agrees to pay Informa an amount equal to the difference between 90% of the Total Room Nights reserved in the Group Room Block and the actual number of Room Nights utilized by Company multiplied by the Confirmed Rate per night.
Failure to check in on your scheduled arrival date will result in a no-show fee, equal to one night’s room and tax, and the reservation may be subject to cancellation. An early departure fee, up to one night’s room and tax, may be charged if the hotel is not notified of an early departure 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival.
To ensure the hotels receive accurate lists in a timely manner, onPeak will have blackout dates for manual changes from Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 4:01 PM US Central Time through Monday, February 23, 2026. Depending on your hotel(s), all modifications to existing reservations may be managed directly with the hotel(s) starting Wednesday, February 11 through the close of HIMSS26.
