What are the on-site HIMSS26 registration hours and locations?
Full-Service Registration and Pre-Registered Badge Pick Up is available at the Venetian Convention and Expo Center during the following dates and times:

Where do I pick up my badge?
A government-issued photo ID will be required to pick up your badge on-site. Badge pickup will be available at all registration counters located within the event space at the Venetian Convention & Expo Center, as well as the Encore, Palazzo and Venetian hotels starting on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
Can someone under 21 years old attend the conference or related events?
No. All registrants, including spouses or guests, must be 21 years of age or older to attend any portion of the conference and events. This includes all off-site and after-hours events.
How do I receive my registration confirmation?
Registration confirmations are auto-generated and sent to the registrant’s email address once the registration process is completed. If you do not receive your confirmation, please revisit the registration page to look up an existing registration and resend the confirmation. You may also reach out to himss@csreg.zohodesk.com to have a confirmation resent.
When is the Call for Proposals?
The HIMSS26 Call for Proposals closed on June 9, 2025. HIMSS27 Call for Proposals will open in the Spring of 2026.
I am a speaker at HIMSS26. What happens next?
You will receive email notification by the beginning of September whether you have been accepted or denied as a speaker for HIMSS26. If accepted, the email will contain directions on how to register as a speaker.
I have a question regarding another HIMSS event, not related to the Global Health Conference. Who do I reach out to?

I registered but have not received a confirmation. How do I get another one sent to me?
Please revisit the registration page to lookup an existing registration or make a request to himss@csreg.zohodesk.com to resend your confirmation email.
I registered, but I'd like to add additional events to my registration. How can I do that?
Additional events must be added to your registration via the registration dashboard. A link to your user specific dashboard is available in your registration confirmation email. If you no longer have your confirmation email, please revisit the registration page to lookup an existing registration utilizing registrant’s contact information to gain access to the user specific dashboard. If you have any issues, please reach out to himss@csreg.zohodesk.com.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express are the only accepted forms of payment. Wire transfers, cash, checks, and purchase orders are not accepted.
I'm a first-time attendee. Do you have any tips for me?
Attend our complimentary Ready, Set, Go! webinar (dates and times to be announced) and/ or join one or our First-Time Conference Orientation and Meet Up sessions on-site. Please review the Agenda At-A-Glance for the most up-to-date schedule information.
I need a letter to obtain a visa. Whom do I contact?
If you require a visa to attend conference, please request the documentation during the registration process. You will be prompted after you enter your country information whether you need visa documentation.
To obtain the visa documentation after you register, you will need to visit your registration dashboard to download the PDF. A link to your registration dashboard will be available in your confirmation email and can be accessed using the registration look-up function on the website.
Are there discounts for group registrations?
There are no group rate discounts available for HIMSS26.
What do I need to do to qualify for the student rate?
The student rate is offered to individuals formally enrolled in a University Associate, Undergraduate, or Graduate program in any healthcare or health technology-related field.
Individuals who hold a paid part-time or full-time equivalent position, including residency, internship, or fellowship programs, in any health-related field are not eligible to receive the student rate.
You must submit proof of current enrollment during the online registration process. Accepted documentation includes:
- Copy of registrant’s current class schedule to include Spring 2026 or later activity
- Copy of university transcript to include currently enrolled courses or targeted graduation date of Spring 2026 or later
- Other enrollment documentation from the institution on university letterhead, signed by department chair or other school official
HIMSS26 has sole discretion to request additional evidence that students satisfy the requirements for the student rate. If HIMSS26 determines the evidence is insufficient, HIMSS26 may deny the request for Student rate.
All student attendees must register by March 6th to receive the student rate. After March 6th, students must pay full conference pass pricing to attend.
How do I obtain my conference registration receipt?
To download your conference registration receipt information you must access your unique registration dashboard. A link to your dashboard is provided in your registration confirmation email. If you no longer have your confirmation email, you can visit the registration page to look up your existing registration account and access your dashboard. If you have any issues, please reach out to himss@csreg.zohodesk.com.
How can I find what paid events and/or educational sessions I am registered for?
All paid events, including pre-conference educational forums and networking events, can be viewed via your registration dashboard. A link to your dashboard is provided in your registration confirmation email or can be accessed via the registration website utilizing the lookup function to find an existing registration account.
What HIMSS26 recorded session content will be available post-conference?
Most General Education Session content, including Keynotes, will be available as recorded content post-conference. The list of recorded content will be available shortly after the conference. For any questions, please contact HIMSSprofessiondevelopment@himss.org.

When will I be able to book a hotel for HIMSS26?
Hotel reservations are available now for all HIMSS25 Professional Attendees. Book now in the HIMSS26 official hotel block.
Exhibitor Housing Dates:
Exhibiting companies will be notified by onPeak, the official housing company of HIMSS26 when it is time to book hotels. All Exhibitor Housing opens September 29, 2025.
Do I have to be registered for the conference before I can book my hotel in the HIMSS block?
No. Hotels can be booked at the HIMSS26 rate before registering for the conference. We encourage booking in advance as hotel rooms fill up fast. View your hotel options.
When will HIMSS26 exhibitor registration open?
Exhibitor registration will open October 21, 2025.
What is the cost for additional exhibitor conference pass badges?
Additional exhibitor conference badges are $500 per badge before December 14, 2025, and $600 per badge on or before February 8, 2026. After February 9, 2026, badges increase to $750 per badge.
What is the cost of exhibitor client paid badges?
Additional exhibitor conference badges are $500 per badge before December 14, 2025, and $600 per badge on or before February 8, 2026. After February 9, 2026, badges increase to $750 per badge.

Can I register for only a Networking Event and not the full conference?
No. You must register for a conference pass and add-on any networking events for an additional fee.
Please be aware that some networking events are “invitation only” and will not be available for purchase.
What types of continuing education credits do you provide?
We offer continuing education credits for attendees to maintain 15 different professional certifications for both clinical and non-clinical continuing education, e.g., CME, CNE, PDU, as well as CAHIMS®, CPHIMS®, and the CPDHTS® certification from HIMSS.
How many sessions are approved for continuing education credits? How can I learn which sessions are approved?

What is the cutoff for the CAHIMS/CPHIMS/ CPDHTS Exam registrations? How is the exam registration handled after the cutoff has passed?
CAHIMS, CPHIMS, CPDHTS Exam registrations are accepted through an online registration process through Sunday, March 1, 2026.
For information on current exam fees, please refer to the HIMSS certification page here. Exam fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to another person or exam administration. Exam registration fees will increase on January 1, 2026. HIMSS Chapter Only and Digital Only memberships are not eligible for the HIMSS Member rate. No exam registrations will be accepted after Sunday, March 1, 2026.
Do you offer professional certification review courses?
We are offering a professional certification bundle for HIMSS26. In addition to receiving an on-site administration of the exam, those who purchase the bundle will receive access to self-paced, on-demand coursework, an administration of the practice exam, and an optional 1.5-hour on-site facilitated learning session immediately preceding the exam. Will sessions be recorded?
Yes, most CE sessions delivered as part of the general education program are recorded. Session recordings will be made available to certain registration types and to HIMSS members after the conference concludes. To learn more, visit the HIMSS course page.

What is the cancellation policy for full conference, single day, events only, and preconference forums registrations?
Refunds, cancellations and substitutions on or before Sunday, February 1, 2026, are refundable, less a $100 cancellation fee. All refund, cancellation and substitution requests must be submitted in writing to himss@csreg.zohodesk.com.
On and after Monday, February 2, 2026: all registrations are non-refundable.
Please note:
- You cannot reinstate a registration after you cancel it.
- HIMSS membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Additionally, registration cancellations will not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Please refer to the Hotel Cancellation and Refund Policy.
When will I receive my refund?
If you cancel and are entitled to a refund, expect the refund within 30 business days. All refunds will be issued back to the original credit card on file. No refunds will be granted if requested after the substitution/cancellation deadline of February 1, 2026.
I can no longer attend the conference. Can I send a substitute?
Substitutions may be made at any time before February 1, 2026. A formal written request must be submitted by the original registrant to himss@csreg.zohodesk.com. Substitution request emails must include the name and email address of the person who will be taking over the registration to collect personal information. After Sunday, February 1, 2026, no substitution requests will be accepted.
